Birthday Cards and Centerpieces
The items I am posting are a mix of retiring In Colors CS, Designer Series Paper and the stamp set Send Me Soaring from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
The card is a variation of one I made for my husband's 60th birthday. I love the color combo from the retiring In Colors.
A week ago I attended a banquet for a non profit organization on whose board I serve. I volunteered to make the centerpieces for the dinner and with the help of my downline and friend, Pat, I made 23 of these bouquets. We went to the dollar store and a thrift store for the vases and had a great time making all the flowers and pinwheels. For the project we used Fun Flowers die, Flower Folds die, Island Floral die, Beautiful Butterflies die, circle punches, assorted buttons, brads and rhinestones. the bouquets went to the table hosts or persons they chose to have them. When I got home I missed my "little shop of flowers" so I created this one for my studio.
Cute card and I love the flowers.

ReplyDeleteChristine what a cute kite card! LOVE the different sizes and the 3D effect too. The large striped kite appears to be held by the reader... very nice.
