Fall is my favorite time of the year. The colors are some of my all time favorites and after living here in New England for the last 16 years that appreciation and favoritism towards those colors has become stronger.
All three projects were done at one of my recent workshops.
The first card is a fall card using a technique that I saw in a video by Rae Deen Bittner on Stampin'
Connection. I love the leaves and the technique is so easy to do.
This card uses Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, and Crumb Cake CS, Orchard Harvest DSP, Asst Markers, More Mustard, Tangerine Tango, Always Artichoke, Real Red and Early Espresso Inks. The stamp sets I used were Tweet Leaves, Wonderfall, and the coordinating Autumn Accents Die. I also used the Woodgrain EF on the DSP, but would not recommend it as it splits the paper. Use CS instead.

My next card was also inspired by a fellow demonstrator on Stampin' Connection. This cute flower pot is a variation cased from Melissa Banbury's card. This card uses Cajun Craze CS that is cut from a regular 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card with the fold at the bottom. Then I ran it through the Big Shot using the Stripes EF.
The flowers are made from More Mustard CS stamped with Tangerine Tango punched using the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch. ( actually I had them all hand cut when a customer said "won't the big scallop circle punch work?" Thank you, Betty) The centers are stamped and punched using the 1" circle punch. I used the Decorate a Daisy stamp set, Wonderfall stamp set and the Autumn accents die for the leaves. I also used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Happiest Birthday Wishes. Since I have the clear mount stamps I was able to curve the stamp to make it fit on the banner found in the Decorate a Daisy set which was stamped and cut using Early Espresso on Naturals Ivory CS.
My last card was one I came up with to send to donors for a non profit where I sit on the Board of Directors.
The base card is Rich Razzleberry CS layered with Floral District DSP and Whisper White CS run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots EF and Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon. The sentiment was from the Friendship Preserves stamp set using Rich Razzleberry and Gumball Green markers. The Window Frames Framelits were used to cut it out and its Rich Razzleberry mat layer. I used the Festive Paper Piercing Pack to embellish that layer.
