October Llama Blog Hop

These are three of my Christmas projects. The box and card were done as a class and the ornament will be part of a workshop in November.

Colors on this are Pacific Point, Cherry Cobbler and Naturals Ivory. The image is embossed with the new pewter embossing powder and I used the Cherry Cobbler quilted ribbon.

This is a double sided lollie ornament made using both glimmer papers, the Northern Frost die cuts and hand colored rhinestone. The center photo just shows its double "sidedness". I used the large scalloped circle die in between the two. The other side uses a so saffron 1/2" circle punch and hand colored rhinestones for its center.

Simple design on this box. Covered top with paper from the Frostwoood Lodge DSP, large scalloped circle die, 2 silver glimmer Snowflake #2 die cuts and one strip of Northern Frost die cuts from silver glimmer paper. The top is a clear bauble from the IB&C like they used at convention. Cherry cobbler polka dot ribbon outlines the box lid and the main box body. The label was traced from the chipboard piece from the Merry Medley on Board (like we did at convention) and I added a couple snowflakes.

They were all fun and very easy to create.

  8. Stunning work, Christine, absolutely stunning! I have carefully avoided making rosettes but that ornament is beautiful and seems like it may be worth the effort.

  9. These are all beautiful! I'm not usually a fan of bling, but the shimmer paper snowflakes are going to convert me! I can see that I will need to get more of those card-keeper boxes, and heaven help me, the Simply Scored as well!

  10. Christine, your projects are beautiful. The card keeper is very inspiring, but so is the ornament. The glimmer paper made it spectacular.
